Tips For Making Delicious Pasta Sauce:-

➠ Tip #1:  Add water according to the thickness of the Crushed Tomatoes

Mostly crushed tomatoes vary in thickness from area to area or sometimes even brand to brand. So, you should have an idea about the thickness of crushed tomatoes so that you can add water accordingly. It is recommended to start the sauce by adding ¼ cup of water. If you notice that your sauce is still thick then add a little more water to it.

➠ Tip #2:  Use The recommended amount of onion and garlic

Along with crushed tomatoes, onions and garlic is also the key ingredient for this recipe. They add a lot of flavour and taste to this recipe. That’s why it is recommended to use a recommended amount of onion and garlic in order to make this recipe,

Just like I mentioned the number of other ingredients to make pasta sauce for six people. If you are also making the same amount of pasta sauce then you should only use medium-size onion along with three to five cloves of garlic.

➠ Tip #3:  Use a small amount of Dried Basil

I know that most people think that dried herbs don’t add any flavour or taste to any recipes. They are just for nutritional benefits! But do you know that all of these theories are wrong? Dried herbs have a huge impact on the taste or flavour of any dish.

So, you should use a small amount of dried basil in order to make this dish. Don’t take this thing as an optional ingredient and try to use it in the sauce. However, you should only use fresh dried basil while making this pasta sauce. One way to check the freshness of dried basil is to smell it. If you can notice its smell that means it’s fresh otherwise you need to purchase some fresh dried basils for making this recipe.

➠ Tip #4:  Give some time to simmer

The simmering of this sauce only takes almost 10 minutes. But you should be attentive during this process. If you don’t give enough attention then you may end up having a thick soup.

Now. you may have a question in your mind what’s the link between simmering and thickness or what can you do to avoid this thickness.

Well, simmering doesn’t directly impact the thickness but it can indirectly make your soup thicker. Actually, the main reason for thickness is the amount of water. If during the simmering process you notice that your soup is becoming extra thick then you should add water immediately and stir it constantly to get a perfect sauce that is not too much thicker.

➠ Tip #5:  Don’t forget to add a mere pat of butter

Most people don’t prefer a pat of butter in any pasta sauce. However, as a professional chef, I have tried making pasta sauce with or without using butter.

For me, it makes a lot of difference. First of all, you get all the healthy benefits of butter, and secondly, it adds a lot of flavour and taste to the pasta sauce. By adding a mere pat of butter you will get a pasta sauce that you will love. Didn’t agree with me? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section.
